An Update from EBC Brakes – 4th November, 2020
We would like to reassure all of our customers that we will remain open and operating as normal during lockdown, in line with Government guidance, as we have throughout the pandemic.
We continue to follow guidance from the Government and Public Health England to keep our employees, customers, contractors and visitors safe by requiring all visitors to site to wear a face covering on entering our premises. All visitors are required to complete a questionnaire in order that we can evaluate any potential risk and where necessary we may deny access to site.
Our employees are encouraged to wash their hands thoroughly and to use hand sanitiser, where available. We continue to strictly follow social distancing guidelines wherever possible, maintaining 2 metres between our colleagues and our visitors. We have spaced out our office furniture to accommodate the required 2 metres of social distance between our office-based employees. We also require employees to wear face coverings when away from their workplace.
Any employee with coronavirus symptoms or a family member showing symptoms is supported to isolate at home in line with government guidance to protect our people and visitors. Normal business operations will continue at all sites. In line with government advice, we are making use of virtual technology where possible as an alternative to face to face meetings.
As a British-manufacturer with the majority of our products made at our own sites, we are fortunate to be able to maintain good stock levels in order to meet the demand of our customers during this difficult time.
