EBC Brakes’ racers perform monster tricks at Halloween

EBC Brakes’ assisted acts will be thrilling the crowds in the run up to Halloween. At the spookiest time of year why not go out for a scary treat to watch one of our talented riders/drivers perform?

Lee Bowers and Swamp Thing Monster Truck will be performing their magic tricks again this year. See below for more details:

Lee Bowers – Bowers Stunts

Lee Bowers aka Bowers Stunts will be putting on a spooktackular performance when he appears at this year’s Flame & Thunder event which is taking place on Saturday 28th October 2017 at Santa Pod Raceway.

Lee is able to perform the thrilling tricks as he has EBC front Vee-Rotors™ with EPFA sintered series pads installed on his Kawasaki Superbike which provide him with finger precision control during his acts.

Lee’s performances at the show will be at 12.35pm, 3.10pm and 5.45pm in the Live Action Arena, well worth a watch!

Also this season Lee competed in the 2017 British Stunt Championship which took place on 14th – 15th October 2017 at Santa Pod Raceway. Lee won the event with an amazing 86.38 points, almost 12 points in front of the second place contender Mark van Driel and achieved the longest stoppie.

So this weekend I got 1st place freestyle in the 2017 British Stunt Championship, along with the longest ‘stoppie’ in the Challenge Event. Great end to a fantastic year! Big thanks to all my sponsors that helped me for 2017 I’m not quite finished yet though still a few more shows and appearances to go yet.

Lee will also be appearing at the Extreme Stunt Show and Firework Spectacular which is being held at Provident Stadium in Bradford, UK on Saturday 4th November which starts at 7.30pm. Too good to miss!

Swamp Thing Monster Truck

Swap Thing Monster Truck will also be performing again this year at the Flame and Thunder event at Santa Pod Raceway on Saturday 28th October 2017.

This should once more be an awesome spectacle of car crushing mayhem. More details below:

Swamp Thing Monster Truck uses the mighty stopping power provided by Truck Yellowstuff Sport brake pads. The monster truck that was based on a Dan Patrick Chassis and first called Dragon Slayer, was originally built in the USA. It was later shipped over to the UK and gjven a makeover before being renamed ‘Captain Insano’. It was then refurbished again over the winter of 2004/2005 and became ‘Swamp Thing’ and has been wowing the crowds with car crushing action ever since.

For several years in a row Swamp Thing has made an appearance at the annual Flame & Thunder show at Santa Pod Raceway and will be appearing again this year at these show times in the Live Action Arena: 1.20pm, 3.50pm and 7pm.

Swamp Thing Monster Truck will also be appearing at the Extreme Stunt Show along with Lee Bowers as above.
