EBC Brakes USA inc. were over the moon this week when the FedEx NASCAR Team paid a visit to the Las Vegas Warehouse facility. The FedEx Toyota Camry NASCAR racing car visited EBC as a ‘thank you’ for continued successful business with the worldwide, fast and reliable delivery company.
FedEx Thank EBC Brakes for Business
FedEx visited the EBC Brakes’ Warehouse based in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA to lay on lunch for all EBC USA employees. They also brought along the famous FedEx Toyota Camry racing car for employees to check out as a show of gratitude.
In the last few years EBC have massively increased the amount of drop ship orders sent a daily basis and hope to continue in the same vein for many years into the future.
FedEx Racing Information
The FedEx racing driver, Denny Hamlin, has already started his 2018 season and competed in three races with promising results. During the first race in the Advance Auto Parts Clash, Daytona on 11th February 2018 Denny finished in 6th place. In the second race, the Can-Am Duel Two at Daytona on 15th February 2018 he finished in 9th position. Then in the third race on 18th February 2018 in the Daytona 500 he finished in an impressive 3rd place.
This was a great achievement for Denny after overcoming a pit road speeding penalty and avoiding a number of multi-car wrecks, qualifying him for a shot at becoming the Daytona 500 Champion in the 2018 racing season.
The FedEx Toyota Camry has a powerful racing spec, V8 engine, two more than the car available on the current market. This brings the final hp spec up to 725 over the 268hp of the market version. This is just one amongst many other customisations the car has undergone, such as a manual 4-speed transmission as opposed to the six speed automatic transmission, electronic fuel injection instead of Toyota Direct Ignition and much more!
