What`s your day job?

Systems Administrator III.

What has been the highlight of your career so far?

Winning top RAW time of the day for the first time.

Did you always want to be a racer or something else?

I’ve always had a love for cars, mechanics, and racing. Aside from being competitive I love ‘figuring things out’.

Front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, all-wheel drive or two wheels?

Front-wheel drive.

What motorsport event would you most like to compete in?

I would love to do a hill climb event.

What is the most insane/scary/memorable drive/ride you’ve ever had?

My first time at Pocono Raceway on the road course where I slid into the grass early morning, recovered it, and kept going. That was a pretty intense moment.

How involved are you in testing and mechanical tweaking before events?

It really depends on what needs done, if everything is working well on the car I do minimal work (tire rotation, oil changes, etc.).

Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

I’d love to finally make it to the SCCA Solo Nationals.

What is your go to playlist or song before an event to get in the zone?

My favourite thing to hear before an event is the sound of my competition’s engines revving and tires screeching.

If you could try any other motorsport which one would you choose?

Monster truck racing – how cool would that be?

What’s the fastest you’ve ever gone in a car or bike on track and when?

130ish, several years ago.

What is your daily drive or ride?

I sometimes daily my ST, other times a Mustang GT, in the Winter a Ford Explorer.

Who is your inspiration?

My family, I always want to strive to be better for them.

What is the one thing you could not live without?

Gas engines.

What is your favourite takeaway?

You mean fast food, right? I figure I spend enough time going fast on the track that I take my food slowly and with beer so I tend to ‘eat-in’.

Any bad habits?

Second guessing myself.

Tell us something about you that most people would not know?

I like cars.

Would you rather fight 100 duck-sized horses or 1 horse-sized duck?

100 duck sized horses, I couldn’t imagine a duck bill in horse size!.

EBC Brakes Yellowstuff Brake Pads

EBC Yellowstuff Brake PadsEBC Yellowstuff brake pads are ultra high friction brake pads for race, trackday and street use, race drivers in particular love them because they are made from an aramid fibre compound. These pads are ideal for street and track driving as they don’t require a warm up but get even stronger under hard driving.

EBC Brakes GD Sports Brake Discs/Rotors

EBC Bluestuf NDX Brake PadsEBC GD Series brake disc rotors are now available in a Black thermic and NITROTHERM™ finish and feature wide aperture slots that draw cool air under the brake pad and rotor interface which help cool the temperature of the brake pad contact that can easily and often shoot up to well over 1000 degrees during heavy braking and can cause brake fade or loss of brake effect – the cool effective use of the slots helps prevent this.
