Andrew Bartosiak, or Bart as he is affectionately known by his colleagues at EBC Brakes World Headquarters in Northampton UK, is not only the EBC Automotive Automotive Technical Manager, but is also a Single Seater Racing/Classic Formula Ford Champion.

Leading my first race until I spun on the last corner.

De Tomaso Pantera GT5-S.

Did you always want to be a racer or something else?


Front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, all-wheel drive or 2 wheels?

Rear wheel drive.

What motorsport event would you most like to compete in?

Historic F1 at Monaco.

What is the most insane/scary/memorable drive/ride you’ve ever had?

Haven’t been scared yet.

How involved are you in testing and mechanical tweaking before events?

Test day just before the event.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

Sill alive!

What is your go to playlist or song before an event to get in the zone?

Smoke on the Water – Deep Purple.

If you could try any other motorsport which one would you choose?

Ice Racing.

What’s the fastest you’ve ever gone in a car or bike on track and when?

160mph+ TVR Tuscan driving customers on their fast lap experience day at Bruntingthorpe.

What is your daily drive or ride?

Audi A8 4.2 quattro/Audi Ur-Quattro.

Who is your inspiration?

James Hunt.

What is the one thing you could not live without?

Stella Artois.

What is your favourite takeaway?

Indian Vindaloo.

Do you have a favourite movie?

Holiday on the Buses.

Probably more than most people.
