What`s your day job?

Apprentice Instrument Technician.

What has been the highlight of your career so far?

Winning two Triumph Triple Challenge Cup races in one weekend during the Silverstone BSB round.

What would be your dream car/ motorcycle?

I am lucky enough to own my dream motorcycle, the BMW S1000RR.

Did you always want to be a racer or something else?

Racing has been my life ever since I was young, so not much else has really crossed my mind.

Front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, all-wheel drive or 2 wheels?

Two wheels.

What motorsport event would you most like to compete in?

I always want to progress as far as I can and now that I am on a 1000cc motorcycle, the British Superbike Championship would be where I want to go and is my current aim.

What is the most insane/scary/memorable drive/ ride you’ve ever had?

It would have to be a wet practice session at Cadwell Park during a lightning storm, it made concentrating quite difficult! That and being upside down at 100mph at Brands Hatch was also pretty scary.

How involved are you in testing and mechanical tweaking before events?

I would like to think I am very involved, it is very important that the rider has a good understanding of what is happening with the bike.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

I would like to see myself as a front running rider in the British Championship.

What is your go to playlist or song before an event to get in the zone?

The Killers usually have a good few to listen to.

If you could try any other motorsport what one would you choose?

I would love to give motocross racing a go, it is good training and physically draining.

What’s the fastest you’ve ever gone in a car or bike on track and when?

The BMW is probably hitting around 170mph at the quicker British circuits.

What is your daily drive or ride?

Usually the commute to work in the morning, so nothing too exciting.

Who is your inspiration?

Would have to be my father who has taught me everything I know today on how to ride a bike fast as well as being mechanically sympathetic.

What is the one thing you could not live without?

I couldn’t live without being able to race, life would be pretty boring without it in my eyes.

What is your favourite takeaway?

Shredded Chilli Chicken with egg fried rice, the local Chinese does a good job.

Do you have a favourite movie?

Hot Fuzz.

Any bad habits?

I like my bed a little bit too much.

Tell us something about you that most people would not know?

I originally raced go-karts and never planned to race bikes, very happy with the way things turned out.

Would you rather fight 100 horse-sized ducks or 1 duck-sized horse?

Had to read that one carefully but definitely one duck-sized horse, I wouldn’t stand a chance against 100 horse-sized ducks.

Max at the Hairpin at Knockhill yesterday 󾌵 ps sorry about the quality, for some reason it's loaded not so clear?

GPFAX Sintered Road Race Brake Pads

EBC GPFAX Sintered Road Race Brake Pads
The GPFAX Formula Sintered Race pads are a direct replacement of the GPFA series. This formula is even higher in friction and created specifically to be used only on asphalt surfaces such as those found in race track conditions. Because of the super performance that they provide, these brake pads are a growing favourite choice of superbike racers.

Another benefit of the GPFAX sintered material is that it now has even better heat cycling ability allowing the brake pads to be raced, cooled, then raced again.

EBC Brakes Double-H™ Sintered Superbike Brake Pads

EBC Double-H™ Sintered Superbike Brake PadsEBC Double-H™ pads are the top choice street legal brake pads you can buy for the best grip.

Made from sintered copper alloy, these brake pads benefit from the highest friction HH rating for maximum stopping power. EBC Double-H™ Superbike pads give perfect braking under all riding conditions, be it wet, dry, hot or cold. Unique stainless steel radiator plates are fitted when required to reduce heat transfer into the hydraulics of the motorbike. The double segment vented design is totally unique and keeps the pads cooler and prevents pad drag and overheat or fade.
