Senior Duty Manager at Team Sport Wales Go Cart Center.

What has been the highlight of your career so far?

3rdPlace in coveted Golden Era at Aberdare Park National Road Races.

Did you always want to be a racer or something else?

Professional golfer.

Front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, all-wheel drive or 2 wheels?

Two wheels.

What motorsport event would you most like to compete in?

Isle of Man TT.

What is the most insane/scary/memorable drive/ ride you’ve ever had?

Finishing a race on my VFR 400 at the Three Sisters Race Track, with the machine on fire!  Still waving to the crowds and managed a 5thplace finish.

How involved are you in testing and mechanical tweaking before events?

I’m very good at watching my dad and our mechanic John working on the bike, and giving plenty of criticism.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

Hopefully progressing to supersport status and still riding for Phil Morris Racing.

What is your go to playlist or song before an event to get in the zone?

Michael Buble.

If you could try any other motorsport what one would you choose?


What’s the fastest you’ve ever gone in a car or bike on track and when?

Anglesea circuit 126mph timed on back straight.

What is your daily drive or ride?

Triumph Tiger 800CC 16 plate.

Who is your inspiration?

The late great Mark Buckley, the Flying Scotsman.

What is the one thing you could not live without?

Anything Star Wars.

Picking my toenails in bed!

Tell us something about you that most people would not know?

I won the Aegus Cup golf tournament aged nine playing against an adult field.  I had the advantage of being the son of a golf shop and driving range owner at the time, who was PGA registered.

Would you rather fight 100 horse-sized ducks or 1 duck-sized horse?

I once had a bad experience with a very large turkey so try to stay away from anything fowl.
