In this Introducing blog post, we catch up with rising drift star, Max Cotton, as he begins his 2020 campaign in an all-new car and aiming for some big series from the motorsport. Max will be using EBC’s USR discs and Yellowstuff pads on his all-new PS13 Nissan Silvia…

“At the age of 12, I entered my first competition, The BMW London LT Challenge, where I finished in third place. The following year, I entered the Drift Cup, where I finished in third in the Unseeded class and qualified in the top five for four out of the five rounds. These were competed in my old 200bhp E30 BMW 3-Series.

“My 2020 competition car is a 430bhp LS3-powered Nissan Silvia PS13. This car is being built to a very high specification and will hopefully take me all the way to Drift Masters in Europe, D1GP in Japan and Formula Drift in the USA which is my ultimate goal.

“My main focus for this year, though, is Drift Cup in England and the Irish Drift Series in Ireland. I’m also very excited to have landed a place in Iron Drift King in Germany, where Europe’s drift elite compete to be crowned the coveted 2020 Iron Drift King.
