Former Kumho BMW Championship winner, Kevin Denwood, smashes the class lap records for the BMW Car Club Racing [BMWCCR] Championship at both Castle Combe Circuit and Donington Park.

Kevin uses EBC Brakes Racing’s RP-1 race and track pads.

Kevin Denwood and his E46 BMW 325ti have been a reliable test-bed for EBC Brakes Racing through the development of its all-new track-dedicated racing material, RP-1. With years of experience, plenty of wins under his belt and a seriously competitive car, Kevin certainly knows what he’s talking about and has provided the firm with invaluable feedback.

Now running RP-1 pads for the 2019 season of the BMWCCR Championship and already breaking the series’ lap records at both Castle Combe Circuit and Donington Park for cars competing in the ‘Class 6’ category, Kevin recently gave EBC Brakes Racing some extremely positive feedback.

“They felt absolutely awesome; the brake pedal feel was amazing throughout the first session I undertook with them. I had no brake fade and the bite of the pad was continuous.

You have certainly cracked it with these! There has been no lack in performance with them from day one; the pads are still awesome and I wouldn’t use anything else.”

Since fitting these pads, Kevin has competed in two race weekends and two long days’ testing, stating his intentions to continue to use RP-1 pads for the remainder of the 2019 season. He is currently sitting 3rd in class, and there’s still loads of life left in the pads…!
