Chris Bailey finishes his 2018 season with Endurolands Putoline Race XC! Chris’ team sent EBC Brakes this report detailing the final race:
Well, that’s a wrap! This was the last round of Endurolands Putoline Race XC. For this last race we were back to Chacombe, the same venue but a different track.
Chris got off to a good start, but soon made his way through the field. On his first lap he had worked his way to 1st in class and 3rd overall. But this track is tough and a few laps in Chris was struggling with blisters on his hands. With nothing to really help him, we called him into the pits and gave him some pain killers, hoping it would help.
Chris continued on with the race, holding this position throughout the first hour. We then called him back in at just over half way for a quick fuel stop. Once he was on his way again he continued to push, still suffering with his hands. But this didn’t seem to slow him down. By the time the flag dropped Chris had worked his way up to 1st in class and 2nd overall.
This secured Chris as the 2018 Clubman champion! We really thought jumping two classes would push Chris, but we didn’t expect him to smash the season and take another championship.
Our thanks to all who help Chris.
Congratulations to Chris on another impressive victory.
