Privateer team Jason Burrill Racing, fronted by rider Jason Burrill, managed to secure an eclectic and successful 2020 season in both circuit and flat track race series.
Currently sporting an impressive collection of classic motorcycles to cover each of the disciplines, Jason ensures that each vehicle is fitted with EBC’s brake and clutch components.
Burrill explains in his own words how the year unfolded below.
“We had a great year on the track taking podiums, wins and breaking lap records.
“With not many full championships to follow, we raced where we could when the season got underway, taking podiums at the first race meeting to happen post-lockdown in July. Out on the team Post Classic Yamaha TZ350 and Yamaha TD2 with the CRMC [Classic Racing Motorcycle Club] at Cadwell Park, we took podiums in both classes and lapped faster than we have on these bikes before.
“We then spent August and September riding our new bike for 2020: a 2006 Yamaha TZ250 that was used in the Moto GP 250 World Championship. The bike did not fail to disappoint, taking podiums in its first outing and finishing our short season having gained a vast amount of data to allow us to push forward in 2021.
“The team also tried their hand at flat track racing for the first time and we are over the moon to say that we won every heat and the final for our class in the DTRA National Championship.
“All the Jason Burrill Racing bikes use EBC’s discs, pads and clutches. We believe they are without doubt the best in the business. The stopping power they provide is second-to-none, giving us the feel and confidence to push as hard as we dare.
“Thank you to all at EBC headquarters for their continued help and support.”
