With ever increasing horsepowers of motorcycle engines, clutches are being subjected to ever increasing stresses. Many motorcycles are tuned to a higher horsepower after production further increasing the demands on clutches. EBC Brakes has been involved with the clutch market for over 20 years with its famous DRC series, SRC series and CK series clutches and in 2009 launched a new range known as SRK, the street racer clutch kit.

Race & Sport SRK Series

As a world first, EBC Brakes has engineered its own range of increased pressure heavy duty diaphragm clutch springs to replace tired or worn original units and these are included free of charge in the SRK kit.

New SRK complete kits include aramid fiber lined friction plates, steel separator plates and springs to provide a street-going kit for high performance street and road race use much similar to the DRC program for off road. Some of the kits will now feature new diaphragm springs as used in many larger new bikes to provide a complete clutch rebuild kit for every sportbike possible.

New EBC Clutch tools are available for most modern motorcycle and ARV clutch configurations and more are being added every month. The EBC tools can hold the basket or the plate hub to allow loosening or tightening of the retaining bolts minimising the risk of damage of the engine and clutch parts.

  3. Hi, EBC team!

I have a Yamaha YZF R1 2007. There is need to relapse a clutch.

What is correct part number of clutch kit (EBC) for my bike?
Please, write all available types (srk, src, ck).

Which of types may be used with Repsol 10w50 Syntetic oil?

    Thanks!

    • Hi Dima

The correct part numbers for the clutch parts for this bike are listed at the end of this e-mail, we do not recommend a fully synthetic oil with any of our clutch kits – either a standard mineral based oil or at the most a semi synthetic grade oil is hat we recommend, Thank you Jon Wright.
      FRICTION PLATES ONLY -= CK2356
      SRC KIT = SRC093
      SRK KIT = SRK093

  5. Hi, I have a question about oil too. I´ve recently bought your EBC SRK051 kit for Yamaha FZ6. I’m using MOTUL 5100 ESTER 10W-50 ( specifications API SG/SH/SJ/SL, JASO T 903 MA) . Is this oil recomended or not? Thank you for your answer.
