Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne-fronted videos will focus on all things two wheels

EBC Brakes is pleased to announce it is partnering with Jonny Smith’s ‘The Late Brake Show’ YouTube channel for the second year running.

The firm supported the channel’s ‘Car Caves’ playlist throughout 2021, with each video amassing hundreds of thousands of views and proving a huge success as a whole.

For 2022, EBC Brakes will be backing The Late Brake Show’s all-new ‘Byrne Out’ playlist, which is fronted by six-time BSB champion, Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne, and focuses on the world of motorcycles in the channel’s much-loved familiar style.

Jonny Smith’s thoughts on the news can be read below in his own words.

“We’re always looking for ways to move the brand and channel forward and bringing a focus to two-wheels (as well as four) was a long-held passion for me in particular. However, I knew I was no expert here, and credible, authoritative information is at the crux of The Late Brake Show.

“So, we sat down to think about who could do it for us and Shane popped up immediately. But we had no idea if he was busy elsewhere or still injured from his accident (or would even want to do it), so I took a punt really. And he said yes, which was both a shock and amazing!

“EBC Brakes have long-standing links to everything two-wheeled and are great friends of mine/the show anyway, so there was only going to be one brand we asked to support us with this playlist. Again, they said yes, so the stars have fully aligned and I couldn’t be more chuffed.”

The first video in the series was recently released and sees Smith and Byrne heading to the Somerset-based Ariel Motor Co, where both cars and bikes are reviewed from this unique outfit.

Stay tuned for more videos in the Byrne Out series coming very soon, and check out the description of each video for exclusive EBC Brakes offers to The Late Brake Show fans.
