EBC Brakes Racing Celebrates 10 Years of Motorsport Success
The sub-division of braking giant EBC Brakes that specialises in high-performance road and track applications – EBC Brakes Racing – is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2025.
Conceived to cater for the ever-expanding track day and race car markets, the aim of EBC Brakes Racing at its launch in 2015 was to develop uncompromised braking products of the finest quality that offer unparalleled levels of performance.
In the 10 years that have followed, various iconic components were launched, including the mighty Apollo brake caliper/big brake kit and the acclaimed ranges of RP™ and SR™ motorsport brake pads.
It didn’t take long for these components to develop a fantastic reputation within track day and car racing scenes, with the products helping to provide countless victories and championship wins for competitive vehicles across the globe.
EBC Brakes Racing also proudly sponsors multiple motorsport vehicles within various disciplines, as well as being the driving force behind the popular ‘Ultimate Fiesta Build’ charity project that launched in 2020.
To date, the EBC Brakes Racing range spans a wide range of vehicles, with over 1000 active part numbers in circulation. As with all EBC Brakes products, EBC Brakes Racing components are all proudly made in the UK (and in the firm’s Ohio plant when it comes to sintered pads).
EBC Brakes Racing will be commemorating this milestone in various ways across 2025, with a limited-edition logo recently launched to kick start the celebrations. Stay tuned for more information as it is announced.
EBC Brakes Staff Gear Up for Charity Karting Challenge
Two teams from EBC Brakes’ Global Headquarters in Northampton, UK, are set to compete in this year’s RoKart go-karting championship in the nearby Teamworks Northampton Karting Centre – raising money for various local charities along the way.
Organised by Teamworks and the Rotary Club of Nene Valley, one of the EBC Brakes teams managed to win the event in 2024, so spirits are high in the EBC office for more impressive results this time around.
The first race for the EBC competitors takes place on 4th March, with further heats continuing until the final on Tuesday, 8 April, should they succeed in their initial races.
Stay tuned for more updates and to hear how much has been raised for local causes…
