The state-of-the art ‘Centre of Excellence’ R&D facility at EBC Brakes’ Northampton global headquarters has been home to more extensive development work recently, with an eclectic mix of vehicles passing through its doors as the products list within the ‘EBC Brakes Racing’ arm continues to expand.
First up, we had this B7 Audi RS4 – helping to continue EBC Brakes Racing’s development of two-piece fully-floating rotors for this much-loved thunderous V8 sports car.
Next, a Lotus Evora could be found on the clinical ramps. This car was receiving similar R&D work to help get the wheels in motion for a two-piece fully-floating rotor kit.
From the completely opposite end of the sports car spectrum but undoubtedly equally-as-formidable as the Lotus, it was finally the turn of a gorgeous C5 Audi RS6 Avant to receive the two-piece rotor development work.
EBC’s ‘Centre of Excellence’ is a cutting-edge R&D facility that comprises a fully-kitted car workshop, joined by an advanced machine shop that allows the rapid development on-car development of new components in-house.
