In this week’s Introducing blog, we chat to long-standing EBC-equipped rider, Wyatt Tipton, about his impressive stunt riding career so far.
Wyatt uses EBC Brakes’ Vee-Rotors™ and EPFA pads on his adapted Honda F4i street bike.
Here’s a little more insight into his riding history in his own words…
“Hi, my name is Wyatt Tipton, better known as Topnotch (see below for full details about my social media channels). I’m 25 years old, based out of Las Vegas, NV.
“It’s safe to say I was born into a world of action sports and stunts. At the age of five, I was doing stunts for a major feature film, How the Grinch Stole Christmas. I obtained my Screen Actors Guild card that same year, and have done many more films and shows since.
“Growing up, I tried my best to get on anything with wheels. Whether that was a skateboard, rollerblades, dirt bikes, BMXs or scooters, I would spend countless hours at the skatepark trying to master all the disciplines.
“After a while, I started to really enjoy BMX and dirt bikes the most. We had dirt bikes but it was easier for me to get my dad to take me to the skatepark, than go riding in the hills at the weekends.
“As I grew older, I started to get a major itch for a street bike. My mom was against it, but as soon as I turned 18, I sold my soul to the dealership for a brand-new 2015 Yamaha R6. Two months later, I totalled the bike up in the mountains thinking I could bend corners like Valentino Rossi.
“I used to watch old videos of Jason Britton doing acrobatic tricks on his bikes, and that caught my eye instantly. I went out, bought an old 2004 Honda CBR 600 F4i, set it up to do wheelies and never looked back.
“I started freestyle riding in 2016, and have since been all over the USA a few times, met many motorcycle enthusiasts on my travels, competed in Amateur-and Pro-class levels with medals in both, and have taken in more knowledge than I knew my brain could handle.
“I believe myself to be one of the fastest-progressing riders on and off the bike in this sport, and am more than thrilled to be representing some of the top companies in the motorcycle industry already.
“I want nothing more than to keep the burning passion for motorcycles alive.”
