The international journey took various drift pros to five iconic locations across various European countries
Following an incredibly successful debutant year in 2023, the Crewsade/Monster Energy ‘Up in Smoke’ drifting tour returned for an equally epic second year recently.
Famous drifter Steve ‘Baggsy’ Biagioni was once again taking part in the same trusty Nissan 350Z he used last year, albeit with plenty more mods thrown into the mix.
With drifting relying heavily on strong and precise braking under your foot, Baggsy decided to continue his relationship with EBC Brakes, again entrusting the firm’s Yellowstuff pads and USR slotted discs to provide the stopping power.
This time around, the tour followed the ‘Sends in the Sun’ theme, touring the favourable climates of Spain and Portugal, including stop-offs at destinations such as Circuito Choquiero and Driftland PT.
Up in Smoke was spawned as an antidote to the top-flight drifting competitions that are spreading like wildfire across the globe, instead bringing drifting back to its humble roots with a proper road trip, featuring only road-legal cars, no trailers and an adventure across Europe that no entrant would ever forget.
You can check out more about how this year’s journey panned out over on Baggsy’s social media channels (links below).
Yellowstuff Pads
A true winner all-round. It has high friction from cold, not requiring warm-up for street use yet when hot, the brakes just get better. High efficiency performance and race brakes for track and street use, fast to bed-in, great for street vehicle brake upgrade.
USR Slotted Rotors
All EBC rotors including USR Slotted Rotors are British made and are precision machined in the UK. Rotors are made from high quality grey iron to exacting standards and undergo extensive testing and rigorous quality control.
