The Northern Ireland-based rider relies on EBC’s GPFAX pads and X-Series floating discs
Northern Ireland-based Andrew Smyth of the Andrew Smyth Racing outfit has successfully competed in BSB’s Superstock 600 series for the last few years.
Riding on a Kawasaki ZX6R 600cc superbike, Smyth uses EBC Brakes Racing’s GPFAX sintered motorsport brake pads (up front) and HH sintered brake pads (on the rear), as well as X-Series floating discs.
His 2023 season saw more success for the racer, as you can read below in his own words.
“This year has been great – racing back home in Northern Ireland in the Ulster Superbike Supersport championship and having gained experience from my years in the British Superbike paddock.
“Starting the year with finishes in a lower position than I had hoped for, I knew I had to progress. However, by the end of the season, I managed to get a few podiums and be a consistent front-runner. I finished the season 4th in the championship, which I am set to improve on in 2024.
