The rising kart star clinched silver at the Whilton Mill end-of-year bonanza
11-year-old Max Wheatley has been showing great promise in recent years with his kart racing career. He competed in the Rotax Mini (Inter) class across the UK in 2023 at various events, achieving impressive results throughout.
Wheatley entrusts EBC Brakes’ kart pads on his 125cc Rotax machine, citing these components as a large part of his success.
The year ended with the highly-anticipated Rotax Showdown event at Northamptonshire’s Whilton Mill – the final heat of 2023 for many classes.
Consistently within the top four positions within the Rotax Mini (Inter) practice sessions, Wheatley secured second-place finishes in race 1 and race 3. He entered the final heat in 4th, carrying out an excellent drive to see him finish in 2nd.
